Hai all…i got blue slip under 221g my application status was refused…what will be the result

@chid. I never got my picture back from vfs / consulate. In case the visa is granted post processing, will they call to picture?

When they kept your passport, did they also ask you for your picture for the visa? They kept my passport but if they give me the stamp I don’t know what they’ll do if they don’t have my picture.

Hi, I got 221g for H4 and it’s been 3 weeks and no reply. I’ve emailed the embassy but usual reply saying it’s under processing. How long does it take? Thanks

Hi Lacky,

I just kept checking the case status online. I got my visa within a month.

My wife and I went for the interview. VO said my H1b approved but gave a blue 221g slip with administrative process checked. No idea why it went to 221g. We are waiting.

My wife also received VISA after about 6 weeks.

Interview date: June 20th
Status Changed to “VISA ISSUED”: July 31st
Passport collected: 1st August
