Wrong beneficiary's highest level of education in h1b petition

Hi Sourabh,

My highest level of education is Bachelor of technology in Instrumentation engineering, but while filling the petition attorney wrongly submitted as master’s degree and petition approved.

I am worried about my Visa case now. Could you please let me know what to do?

Your attorney should file an amendment with USCIS and get it corrected. Even though it may be a human error, it may cause serious issues in long run and they can consider as willful misrepresentation.

Hi Saurabh,

Will USCIS reject this case when an amendment is filed? I have a similar issue and this year’s quota is already filled. I am worried that I will lose the petition.
