Hi All,

In May-12 I had applied for H1B and in Sep, i got the RFP.My employer replied the RFP in oct and also informed me that they would not send me to US even if my H1B got approved.After this i got frustrated and i left the company in Nov.Few days back i checked my H1B visa status(as i am having the receipt no) and it was was showing in approved state.Is there any way through which i can transfer my H1B to new employer , But i am not having the copy of the approval

You meant RFE.

Yes, this can be done. Another employer can file for cap-exempt H-1 petition (aka H-1 transfer) using the receipt number and print out of the online status showing that the petition has been approved. Once approved, you can go for stamping and then travel to US.
