working for L1B company after 1st October (h1B approved with COS)

Hi , Needs your help,

I am working for Company A on L1B VISA . I got H1B from Company B and approved with COS,to start working from 1st cotober 2013.

I have my L1B till sep 8th 2013. If i extend my L1B and can work for Company A on L1B for few more months(till Dec’13)?

There are 2 scenarios:

  1. L-1 gets approved prior to Oct 1. In this case, you will move to H-1 status from Oct 1 and need to work on that.

  2. L-1 gets approved after Oct 1. In thisy case, ou will move to H-1 status from Oct 1 and need to work on that. You can work on L-1 from L-1 approval date.
