Work from Home for Indian company on H4 in US

Hi

I am on H4 in US

I have got a job in a Indian company who are ready to hire me in India, allow me to work from home in US and pay me salary in India. They are also ready to sponser my H1b in this years quota.

I want to check if it is fine that I work from home in US and get a salary in India and they sponser my visa in this APril 2013.

This is not allowed. You need to have a proper visa(B or L) if you want to work for India based company from US.

As long as you are on H-4, you cannot work. Once your H-1 gets approved, you can start working for that company and get paid in US in USD as per the LCA.
