My Visa extension was approved by USCIS from Aug 01st 2017 to July 2020. Unfortunately after Visa approval notice I got release from the current project on April 30th 2017. Now I got it another one opportunity within the same employer but different client/location but as per the immigration team, my approved extension petition start date given as 01-Aug-2017 hence it will be active only from this 01st Aug and not before. So they decided to withdraw approved extension petition and going to file new extension petition with correct assignment start date with amendment to avoid compliance issue.
Please let me know, will it create RFE issue or is that fine to withdraw the approved extension petition and file the new one with new extension cum amendment with correct start date ?
