will the visa be valid if moved to new company?

Hi,

I am planning to move new company but have few questions regarding visa before proceeding further. Can anyone anwer my query.

I have valid visa till Feb2016. Now I am planning to apply for H1 transfer to a new company. Also, I have plans to go India in the month of December for my brother’s marriage. Is the visa issues under old company is stil valid while coming back to USA or Do I need to go for stamping again if employer is changed?

Some forums say that it is not required and some people suggest to go for stamping again. I am not sure which is correct. Hope someone answer my query.

hi Asmath,

As long as your visa is stamped, you can travel to India and come back. In the meanwhile, even if you get your visa transferred to a new employer, it will not affect your entry/exit from USA.

You don’t need to go for stamping at this stage.
