My H1B was approved from company A last year for yr 2013, but I had to ask them to cancel it as I joined company B, which wanted me to work on OPT work authorization. So, I never worked on H1. Will I be counted against the h1b quota this year or am I cap exempt?
If you know the receipt number or have a copy of the approval notice, then another employer can file a cap-exempt petition for you.
