I am on H4 visa, my husbands H1B visa is expiring in Aug 2014 (6th year of H1B), his greencard process in not initiated yet. I am an electronics engineer (B.E.) . I have worked in software with renowned IT firm in India for around 6 years. If I apply for H1B in April 2014 I can start working only from October 2014. So just wanted to know whether I can apply for H1B in the year 2014. I really appreciate your inputs.
