Wife working in India but applied for h4 visa

My wife is currently working in India. But now she wants to go for h4 visa. Should she resign the job?

It is NOT required that she should resign before appearing for H-4 interview. She can appear for stamping now and can resign later. What is important is that she should NOT work at all after she enters US on H-4 visa.
