I have seen in the H1-B Tracker on this website, some people are “Waiting for Lottery result” but know their Service Centre, how is that possible? How can we know the Service centre which is going to process our application even before knowing that our application has been picked by the lottery?
It is probably based on knowledge of job site and the city / state where work will occur. As you are aware, USCIS work load is divided into quadrants with multiple States feeding into limited quadrants just like the IRS. If I am going to be working in New Jersey, I might know which service center has my case.
