My husband has finished his mba and currently on opt in a company in US . Is he still on F1 visa ?? Can he travel 2 india widout any problems to resume his job on a later date !!
He is still on F1 visa.
He will have his EAD card, while on OPT.
An EAD card, is not eligible for reentry to USA, as mentioned in the card.
One can’t say for sure whether people can travel in a EAD card and get back again, while on OPT, there have been instances when people did travel while on OPT and was allowed in.
I suggest you to consult an attorney, cause everybody’s case is uniquie, without knowing all the other details it would be hard to concur.
