What is the real waiting time for B1/B2 Visa?

Hi,

I’m applying for B1/B2 for the first time. I see a lot of open slots in CGI Force for Chennai, Kolkata starting from Jan 2022 but I’m not able to book any of them as it says there are no slots.

Anybody knows what is the “real” waiting time?

Most likely you are seeing open slots for the OFC appointment (i.e. Biometrics process), and the next click takes you to the Consular appointments. Which are not available in Jan or Feb 2023 in any of these locations.
