I plan to travel from Saudi Arabia to united state of america by the end of 2018 and my study courses,lecture and PHD require four years direct study my question is what is the expiry date when i have to be back to my country to renew my visa or its automatic renewable or can i refer to my country embassy in USA and what is the average fees in each case?
F-1 visas are extendable until program of study continues. Renewal is not automatic - your I-20 will be extended in the US but the visa stamp is renewed in home country US embassy. Your country’s embassy in the US can’t be of help here - they have no authority over US Department of State activities.
