Hi,

I have got an offer to relocate to US on L1B. My family consists of 3 people (myself, wife and 2 year old son).

My office is a NY and the offered salary is 118,000 USD.

Where should I search for house to live and what are the other expenses I will have. Please let me know, it will help me in planning.

How much am I going to save after all these expenses.

You can search for houses on the Jersey city side. People usually commute from Jersey city or Edison to New York city.
