What happens to existing H1b if the new employer h1b is denied

Hi,

I’m currently working for Company X and I got an offer an Company Y. With the current visa conditions, I don’t want to start my new employment until the H1b filed by them gets approved.

My question is, in case the H1B filed by Company Y gets denied, what happens to my status.

Can I still continue with my existing H1B at Company X? Or will I lose that status too?

Will my current Company X gets to know anything about this?

H1 is employer owned visa and each employer H1 is mutually exclusive, no impact of one on other…
