What are the stages in H1B petetion and Visa?

Hi,

My employeer has applied my H1B petition in regular processing. It is still in Initial Review state for more than 110 days. If my application changes from Initial review state to next state, i need to plan myself and approximate duration. Please let me know what are the stages and approximate duration for that after it is approved or RFE? It was filled in Vermont Service Center.

If there are no extra documents required, then your next stage will be approval/denial. There is no other activity. if you get RFE, then RFE review and then Decision.

Intial to Decision is 2 to 4 months

Intial to RFE ( 90days given for submission

RFE review to Decision is 2 months
