You can look for openings on job sites like dice, indeed etc. See if there are any companies hiring. You can also go through your network of friends, family and colleagues.
In any case, H-1 cannot be applied until April 2017 now. So even if the company has opening now, it may not be valid 10 months down the line. You can start the search early next year for FY-18 filing.
