Voluntary termination in mid-semester. Reapplying for visa

I came to university for fall 2018 but I’m planning to take voluntary termination in the mid of the semester I have new initial I-20 for spring 2019 from other colleges Should I stand for an interview? Will I have issues during my interview? suggestions

Check with the DSO from your new school and current school regarding your F1 status and if you need to go for visa interview again.

In general, if you transfer at the end of semester properly, there is no need to go for visa stamping again as your current visa, if valid, would work fine. I am not sure, when you say termination, is it due to some specific violation or for a reason…

Ideally, you should just continue at the school and do proper transfer to avoid complications with status…You can speak to your DSO and drop classes, if you are overloaded and plan accordingly.
