VISA RENEWAL payment reflecting in daughters applicant name due to common email id

Applicant details on the portal is my Daughter name. I have uploaded my DS-160 have entered my passport details and paid the money. But am not able to schedule in my name. Have written to support. Waiting for response. Is it ok to schedule in her name and change the name during the drop box interview. Let me know.

I think that the profile can be used for multiple people in a family. I have used it for myself and my spouse. There is a tab that says “Manage Applications”. You can see the applicant’s name. Before you link DS-160 to an applicant in the scheduling website, one has to make sure that it is for the intended applicant. Once linked, you make payment and then book a date.

I don’t think it is a good idea to schedule in her name and you go for an appointment. Contact the support team.
