What kind of Photo is accepted for visa stamping, matte or glossy. I heard they are asking for matte finish photo. last time I submitted glossy finish and they accepted.

Photos must be printed on photo quality paper. The photo quality paper can be either matte or glossy photo paper.

As you pointed out from the US travel website, either are fine. None of our readers reported any issues in their visa stamping experiences with the type of the photo paper used. They shared issues, where the photos that were taken in US, were not accepted or the photos that were taken at some other place were not taken…Usually, they just ask to take photo from any photo shop nearby to the US consulate or collection center.
