Visa application fee payment reciept-Is it mandatory during interview

For H1B we paid the fees(as a family) using NEFT and got our payment confirmation via email. but we do not have a fee payment reciept., did not take a screen shot also while transferring amount using NEFT. We have scheduled our appointment but now we checked some sites and it says that we need a fee payment reciept. Pls advice

Visa fee payment receipt is not mandatory now. Sites telling you this are outdated.

With NEFT payment one can not get receipt.

Incidently., see yr Appointment letter carefully. It hasFee receipt no and Fee Amount in it. But do not worry. Nobody is going to ask you for fee receipt.

Fee receipt is now on Appointment letter itself.
