Hi All,

My employer has filed H1B for me and they have provided me the receipt notice, I got a case number starts with IOE. my employer filed my case directly to California service center.
My doubt here is, I should get the case number starts with WAC right? since it is directly filed to California and IOE is for Electronic filing which is not available for H1B filing.

Please help on this topic

This is common when the USCIS converts your documents into a digital file in their system, the receipt code is IOE. You can still track it using case status portal.

Thanks Kalpesh, I am able to track my case status online, but my doubt here is
I am expecting the case number in WAC format but got in IOE format…

Is it okay? or my employer has provided a wrong number?

This is okay based on the fact that your case was converted to digital file.
