Currently my L1 B visa is stamped for Weehawken New jersey location but there is a possibility that my work location might change to Pennington NJ. Please let me know if amendment would be required if location changes from Weehawken NJ to Pennington NJ

I would suggest issues like that company and Lawyer should address. New address notification is a very simple process.
Talk to your boss about this and he or she should be able to take care.
Amendment is required if the new location is in a different MSA then the one in your LCA.
Seems like the Pennington is in a different county and MSA then Weehawken so your employer will need to file an amendment.
