US Visa Scheduling Website stuck at Continue Application, Processing Option

I I was applying for renewal of B1/B2 visa for myself and for my wife.

We have completed DS-160 applications, online.

I have created new profile on usvisascheduling.com, entered all necessary data and paid visa processing fees (INR 31080.00) on 31st July 2024.

Also, I received email from donotreply@vfsglobal.com, with attachment in ‘pdf’ format about “U.S. Visa Fee Payment Receipt”.

As, I was not able to see “documents DROPBOX” option for Bengaluru center, I could not complete scheduling of DROPBOX appointment, and page got tined out.

Now, Whenever I am log IN to wedsite, I can see “VISA APPLICATION HOME” initial page.

  1. If I select option “CONTINUE APPLICATION”, I see “MY DEPENDENTS” page.

  2. If I select option “NEXT”, I see “PROCESSING” in progress on “MY DEPENDENTS” page.

  3. After “PROCESSING” action completes, I see “DOCUMENTS DELIVERY OPTIONS” page with “UPDATE” option.

  4. When “UPDATE” option is chosen, it starts “PROCESSING”.

  5. After “PROCESSING” action completes, it goes back to same initial “VISA APPLICATION HOME” page.

This keeps on repeating again and again.

As asked by customer care executive on phone (+91-22-62010000), Accordingly, I sent email.

They opened a case. Nothing happened for few days. After Second time contacting, they escalated the case and status of the case shows as ON HOLD.

Whenever I send reminder email, they open new case and close it after two days, saying PROBLEM SOLVED, though nothing has been solved actually.

Now they are telling that I have to wait for indefinate time, till I get answer from escalation team.

I am helpless. Can anybody has faced simillar issue?

Sorry to hear about your situation. The system is very buggy.
Did you try closing the application and redoing it again? If not, try that option. It can help clear out some issues. You will have to re-answer the questionnaire to get the dropbox option.

I wanted to do that, but I have asked the same to customer care. So that, I will not have to fall in some awkward situation of loosing already paid fees. Once I get confirmation from customer care, I will try it. I will wait for resoltution from their escalation team, for some more time. If it is going to be indefinite waiting, then I will close current application and start new. Fingers crossed.

Usually, you will not lose any fee if you have not made any appointment booking. You are even before that step, so it should be fine. But it is always better to go with customer care to ensure there are no issues of losing it. Do post after you hear back from them and your status for community benefit.

It seems as peoblem has been solved. Just now before 4 days I received email from them. Then after “Visa fees” middle tab in bottom of webpage has turned blue and shwoing as 370 dollers paid. Also “Continue Application” option has disappered and instead showing “schedule appointment”. Now I will try to schedule appointment. Hope it will work fine.

In my situation the next button is not visible after documentation delivery page - and it is on hold in the feedback/requests page
