My OFC VFS appointment is today afternoon and my friend just told me that there cannot be more than 10 days gap between my VFS appointment and the visa interview (I have 14 days gap). Is there any truth to that? Should I postpone my VFS appointment (if it is possible to do so)?
The visa is NIV B1/B2.

The answer is for the benefit of others.
The time gap between OFC and consulate Appointment can be upto 14 days.
You were wrongly informed by those with improper knowledge that gap permitted is 10 days
System controls the gap and gives Appointment availability as per rules.
Whatever system gives is honoured. and correct.
