Urgent: H4 to H1 - Prior work experience...

Hi Saurabh & all friends,

My wife is in H4 status & while we filled up her DS-160 online form for H4 Visa interview, we had mentioned her occupation as ‘Housewife’; But now for her H1 petition we are showing her prior work experience.

Will this be a problem while USCIS processes her H1; The H1 petition has been filed & awaiting Approval…Your suggestions / opinions are welcome.

I think this should be OK, during H4 application her current occupation was housewife moreover H4 was just dependant so does not require to explicitely mention her previous experiance.

but now H1 is work visa and hence all previous work exp should be mentioned.

moreover they don’t see what all was mentioned in previous petition.
