Twice 221g for same h1b at Calgary consulate.

Hi,

I had an interview on nov 13 at Calgary consulate for h1b and they issued 221 g, then I went back to India and I got email from consulate that send in passport for stamping.

I could not go immediately due to some legitimate reason and asked Calgary consulate that is it ok if I come back after a month then respond immediately that its fine to come in jan and drop passport.

I appeared again to consulate on jan 15 to drop my passport then they issued again 221 g white slip for additional processing .

its been 3 weeks over and I am worried. What will happen please suggest is it good or bad ?

No one can tell you precisely what is happening. There is not much you can do except to wait. Did you call the consulate to know the status?

Hi…: can’t we send the passport to Canada in courier instead of going over there…
