traveling on amended petition receipt from India to USA

Hi I am in INDIA now and i have stamped visa till june 2018 , i also have approved I 797 till april 2018.

I was in USA fro 1 year but my project got ended and i traveled back in India. Now i got new project and my company filed amended petition.

A> Can i travel to USA from India , once i get amended petition receipt.

B> How long it takes to get receipt ?

  1. Yes, you can travel using the amendment receipt and previous visa stamp and approval notice

  2. Receipt could take 2-3 weeks to reach attorney/employer’s office.
