Traveling india with valid h1b visa - but extension went to RFE

Hi All,

I have a valid h1b visa till Jan 30- 2015. My employer filed h1b extension in Aug 2014 but it went to RFE by end of september. I need to travel to india because of family emergency on Nov 20th to Dec 4th.

is it advisable to travel to india when extension in RFE? Does tavelling affects my extension petition in any case?

As i have valid visa, there wont be any impact in travelling in Nov? please advice.

There shouldn’t be any problem as you’ve valid Visa to re-enter in US in Nov. You may consult with your attorney, who is helping you for your extension.
