I have my H1B visa expiring on OCT 21. Considering that i apply for extension during July 1st in normal Processing,Can i travel now to India in September and come back in the same month when my extension request is filed but not yet approved by USCIS?
When you leave US, your I-94 extension will be abandoned. So it needs to be filed again after returning to US; unless petition gets approved before you land in US. In that case, you can carry the extended petition w/ you, and get extended I-94 at the PoE.
