Hi Saurabh, I have been a long time member in Redbus2US. This question is pertaining to travel to Canada when H1 visa is valid and the extension is not filed. Have a valid Canadian visitor visa till November 2013. H1B visa is valid till January 2014. Company told me that I can travel to Canada before visa extension is applied. Wanted to know if this is fine and I can travel without any issues. Thanks Priya.
You can travel as long as your visa stamp and petition are valid. They can file for extension soon after you return to US. If you have time crunch, then ask the employer to keep all paper work ready by the time you return (like LCA).
