Hello All,
I am on H1b in the US with an I -140 approval. My wife has her H4 stamping in a couple of days after which she will travel to the US. But due to an emergency, she will have to be in india for a period of 5 months. I dont want to waste this time and thinking if its possible for her to travel to the US for a week or two after H4 stamping, submit EAD application, trave to india and once EAD approved, re-enter US. Is this possible or recommended? Any thoughts or guidance is much appreciated.
EAD application will keep processing while the beneficiary is outside of the US, no issues.
