Hi,
I changed my employer six months ago and now I got new approved petition for new employer.
My new petition is valid till December 2016 but existing H1B Visa stamp from previous employer is valid till Feb 2nd 2016. I am planning to go to India for a week and returning on January 10th.
Is it safe to travel with visa stamp from old employer with new approved I-797 for new employer and with only 3 weeks left on the existing visa stamp.
I have heard that there is usually no issues at US port of entry but Indian visa officer can ask so many questions before boarding the flight?
Please let me know if somebody has experienced this situation before.
