Times lines for H1B

Hi All,

Thanks for reading this post. Kindly let me know times lines for below questions.

  1. Maximum time (till which month or days or months) to take H1b visa interview after you number comes in lottery.

  2. Maximum time (till which month or days or months) to travel after you get H1b visa stamp on your passport.

Answers :

  1. After you receive the approved petition ; you can get PA date scheduled anytime and go for stamping.

  2. One would be allowed only after the start of the 4th week of September of that fiscal year into US on H1B.; in this case last week of september 2014.

  1. you mean my employer can schedule my interview in Jan 2015 ?
  2. can I go to usa in feb 2015 or March 2015?
