My h1b application was approved on June 31 under premium processing. I am an assistant professor sponsored by a state university. I am wondering about the timeline of my employer’s receiving I797 documents after the approval. Thank you so much.

The approval document should be received within 30 days of approval date. If not, employer/attorney should follow-up w/ USCIS.
