Although USCIS anticipates that H1B cap may be reached quickly this year, what is your feel / thought ? It is a guess of course at this point but do you really think there will be a lottery for regular + masters cap this year (especially for masters cap ??) ?
Based on USCIS’s recent report, I expect lottery to happen for general cap. But Master’s cap may not have to undergo lottery.
Even if there is a Master’s cap lottery, those people will get two chance - they will first do lottery in Master cap, and unselected applications will be added to the pool of general cap for the 2nd lottery.
