Third J-1 visa, F-1 visa, employee GC or wait for next H-1B?

Hi all,

Let me make this question as short and detailed as possible.

I’m currently working as an creative in an advertising company in Los Angeles and my company would like to keep me employed. My 12 month J-1 Intern Visa expires in October 2013. We applied for an H-1B visa this year but I didn’t get through the lottery so I’m looking for other options. I have a Master of Arts obtained in Sept. 2012.

  • Green Card through employer? Is this realistic in my situation?

  • Take courses related to my job at an US university and go on a F-1 visa CPT and keep working at my company? And apply for the next H-1B

  • I am in contact with attorneys about my eligiblity for an O-1 visa.

  • I hear they can extend J-1’s in some sitiuations, what are those?

Please advise, thanks!
