Hello,
I’m a resident in the US for tax purposes for 2022. My spouse, however, was on an F1 OPT visa for 160 days in the US. She moved to Canada for work. She visited me on H4 visa for a week in Oct 2022.
I want to know if she qualifies to file taxes as a non-resident. This is helpful because she will not need to report her foreign income in 2022.
