I have a situation here. I have already travelled to US last month. My petition expiry and visa expiry date is on 17 July 2022 and the extension process has started.
My dependents have got the visa slots on 13 and 14 July. Now during their interview will there be any issues as my petition is getting expired on 17th July. What documents do I need to send them to get their visa approved?
Appreciate if anyone can provide suggestions on this.
Apply your extension of status with premium processing, if not done upgrade to PP so you get it approved before the H4 goes for interview. Once approved, send the copy of new I-797 to your spouse and submit to the dropbox or when they go for interview. DS-160 may need to be updated with the new I-797 details.
