Shifting employers - H4 Visa stamping , Marriage, Transfer, Port of Entry

Hi … I am trying to change employers from employer A to employer B .My transfer is in process.
I just got married in November and have scheduled H4 visa interview with employer A’s approved i797 on 9th of Jan for my wife. I had used employer A’s i797 petition number while filling the DS160.

Questions:

  1. If the transfer gets approved, before my wife goes for the interview, will it cause any issues?
  2. Also, if I had changed employers while my wife travels to US, will there be any issues in Port of entry?

  1. If your transfer gets approved, then I suggest you fill out a New DS-160 form with updated details and ask her to carry the same.
  2. There may not be any issue, as long as you are maintaining status. She will need the details of your current employer at port of entry to get the I-94 issued until that end date.
