Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking on this forum for a while now, and I thought it was finally time to share my story. It’s been quite the journey, but I hope it can give some of you a bit of hope if you’re in a similar boat.
Started out with Employer A under EB3, but things took a turn when I got laid off. That was a pretty tough time, but I before my H1b expired i was able to get into a Employer B (not FAANG but really good top tier company). After putting in two years there, I they agreed to file EB2. But then that also didnt make any difference.
Finally, after 7 years i thought my credentials are decent to see if EB1-A is a possiblility. I didnt want to pay a lawyer as most of the free evaluations said i wont qualify. Then got a reference to try out Immibadger. I didnt even know something like this existed. It had rejected appeals that i viewed to find out why people were being rejected and the common criteria that worked. I focussed mainly on judging and got a good network of people that helped me get opportunities after I shared my CV.
I focussed on building my profile and found a lawyer who agreed to help with my case. I filed and got a RFE. This part lawyer mostly took care and I got more evidence to help. Then finally got my approval.
Now waiting for adjustment. So my suggestion is go out and see the options it is possible to do EB1-A. It will open up more job opportunities as well I hope!
