It would be great if you guys can help me out here.
I recently applied for 24 month OPT extension and I got RFE on “Employer and E-Verify Number”.
“The student’s employer is registered in the E-Verify program, as evidenced by either a valid E-Verify company identification number or, if the employer is using a designed agent to perform the E-Verify queries, a valid E-Verify client company identification number, and the employer is a participant in good standing in the E-Verify program, as determined by USCIS.”
Before applying for OPT extension, my company got a merger and company changed its name and my HR got new E-Verify number. Is it because of fresh new E-Verify number?
What will be my next step, and what should I do? Please help.
FYI, I cant see my company new name in E-Verify search tool. As far as I remember, search tool is being updated every quarter that’s why I might not seeing it I guess.
