Regarding traveling to India after finishing Masters.

I’m going to finish my Masters program in December 2013. Can I travel to India and come back in one month?I mean, will I be in status once I go out of the United States?I still haven’t received any job offers and planning on applying once I return to the US.

You would need Job offer and valid F1 Visa stamp in your passport to come back on OPT. Check the UC Berkeley Travel on OPT
