Regarding L1-A extension from USA

Hi,

I have a question with regards to L1-A visa extension.

My company is filing for extension while I am in US, my question is after getting my L1-A extension from US, do I need to go for re-stamping in India if I visit India.

Please clarify.

If the visa stamp in the passport has expired when you travel outside of US, then you need to go for stamping.
