I am in H1B extension process and petition was filed on september. I have applied for H1B Premium process on 09/27/2013. Still there is no progress. Can anyone please tell me whether US Govt shutdown will affect this Premium process?Should not. I got approval on 4th oct. My case was filled 6 months back.
As you have premium processing your employer can call and ask for the status.
