Reg: h1 ext status

Hi ,

I have filed ext on 08/04/2015 , up to now i didn’t get any update on my visa status. when i checked USICS site with my receipt number , it is throwing the following error:

“My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again”.

Please suggest !!

Check w/ employer/attorney if you have the correct number. They can look-up the 797C (receipt notice) to confirm the same. If it is the correct one, then retry after couple of days and if issue persists ask your attorney to follow-up w/ USCIS.
