I have a H1b approved petition valid till march 2017 in the lottery. (It is a H1b under cap).
I am currently working in India for company A.
- Can I transfer the H1b to another employer using the application receipt number. (I do not have the
hardcopy (or softcopy) of the I797 document.) After the transfer, will the validity be until March or will
it be extended?
- If I am not travelling to the US on the H1b approved petition and it expires, can the petition be transferred
even after expiry?
