Quitting job on H1b - Not give up slot or future?

Hi,

I am currently on H1b and will be moving out of US. I am voluntarily quitting my job.

How do I make sure that once I quit I am not using up my time on H1b?

You are not giving up your H1B slot. In the future, you can transfer, if you have any of the 6 years duration left. You can apply for cap exempt transfer from outside of US. read below
