My H1B is valid till 2018 June and then I can extend it for three more years.
Due to some family emergencies I will be required to quit my job and go back to India for a year or so.
If my current employer in the US is willing to hire me back after a year, will I need to go through the H1B application process (eg: file in April of next year, lottery, process, start in October of next year) again?
